Here is a blog I wrote back in 2009 that may be of some use: We recently changed our prop on Elandra. We purchased a folding prop from Volvo that gave no thrust whatsoever. Hi Bonitholl, You speeds sounds as if they are way off. On a broad reach with a clean bottom in 15 to 20 knots of wind you should be getting some 7 to 8 knots. Try tuning your rigging. I'm sure it is on this site, but Tim Goodbody on White Mischief has tuning notes on the Irish site under Forms/Info...
