David

I don't seem to be able to post new topic , any advice? Whom should I get in touch with?

I have created Race calendar for Irish Sea and would like to post it on our Sigma forum. I was wondering whether excell spreadsheet would make sense?

I am campaigning for other Sigmas based around Irish sea to participate in different races and regattas. South based boats seem to have it, believe we should too. I took it as "best practice" and created something similar.

Hi Kuba,
How did you get on with your list of Irish Sea Sigma 33s? We have a change of management within the Irish (Dun Laoghaire) Sigma 33 Association and I have been charged with getting details of all the other Sigmas residing within a days sail from Dublin. This is with a view to branching out both socialy and competitively to other Sigmas and to ensure that they are aware of the activities over here. Any help would be greatly appreciated in locating and contacting. We are endeavouring to have a few Sigmas to Abersoch in August and there is talk of a feeder race which could be a bit of fun!

Anyone else wanting to be kept abreast of the Irish activities please contact me on aubs@eircom.net. If you have any websites relevant to Sigma 33s please let me know and I will add it as a link to our site

Best Regards,
Aubrey Leggett

Aubrey

I almost missed your post, it was "covered" by Paul's announcment re: Championship.

Yes I have finished my list and will send it to you on your e-mail address. Please cross check and make sure I have not missed anything on the "Weste side of the Irish Sea".

I have counted in our Yearbook and looks like we have 80 Sigmas based around the Irish Sea!!! , that is 20 more than in Solent / Hamble area. We should be able to pull good numbers for our races.

Hi, I am a final year student in Limerick institute of technology Ireland and also a keen sailor and a member of the Kinsale yacht club Co. Cork Ireland. I am currently studying Business and Event Management. I am currently carrying out a feasibility study for a new Sailing event in the Kinsale Yacht. The event will be a two day sailing event for the one design sigma 33 class. This feasibility study is part of my final year project. I would appreciate if you could take a few minutes to fill out this survey. Here is a link to my survey.
Kind regards

RUYC has received a further entry for this year's Class Championship. Scottish Class Captain Roy Summers (Rajah) has entered. Our total now sits at 8 with hopefully more to follow in the coming days :D
