South Coast One Day Regatta

South Coast One Day Regatta

Postby Andy Johns » Mon Sep 14, 2009 8:14 am

The last of the One Day Regattas is being held on Saturday 26th September which is being run by the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club. On Saturday there are three races with the courses being set on the day around various buoys in the Solent and it is hoped that each course will last about 90 minutes. After racing crews are invited to meet at the Royal Corinthian YC for drinks and to discuss the days racing. Please pop in if only for a quick drink  The Notice of race is saved under the "Events" tab on the home page

The last event in the South Coast Championship calendar is the Autumn Championship run by the Hamble River Sailing Club which is over the weekend 10 & 11 October. The Club has agreed that we will get our own start so you are all invited to enter at http://www.garminwinterseries.co.uk as soon as possible.

I hope that we will see good support for these events and if you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me.

Time has flown by; I can hardly believe the first One Day Regatta of 2010 is less then 2 weeks away!

We need to get our entry in!

Who else is doing it?
