Prospero got off to a good start!, with a 1st and a 4th, and lying 2nd overall after Menace (a quarter tonner), with a 2nd and a 1st.

Anyone who sailed in it fancy adding some info?

Well done Allan and the Prospero crew for your 1st in Sunday's Hamble Winter Series race. I never believed 'Menace' could be beaten by a Sigma!!
Will be watching your performance from hereon in with great interest (and expectation)! Good luck ...

have just emailed Jamie, as ours (Shadowfax) was incorrectly .911 Whippa Snappa was reweighed for the IRC champs so hopefully this will be reflected in the class TCF next year?

There was a cock up on the results front on Sunday, at the prizegiving we didnt realise that we had been omitted form the results until the evening, HRSC apologised but because we didnt muster enough boats for the Autumn champs, when they transferred our entry across for the black group race on Sunday they had incorrectly put our TCF as 0.000 and cut us out of the results although we finished nearly five minutes ahead of Menace! They applied the same TCF as other 33s, I believe we still won.

I have had my boat (Powder Monkey) weighed and measured for IRC racing and it came out at 0.909. There is one other locally at 0.909 and one at 0.908! If you are going to compete in handicap classes it is well worth while.

On approved load cell she came in at 4325kg, the other local boat on 0.909 weighs 4350kg. I also had the sails measured as they may shrink over time
